This Service is for Disable/Defeat/ Delete Function of Electronic Steering lock for Audi A6/S6, and Q7 . With this service we will Delete functions of Steering lock module and module will be disable and stay in open position forever and you will not hear any noise form lock. With this function on cars with start/stop button ,button may not operate and you may need to use key to start car.This is for the cars up to 2009. after 2009 this will not work .

The most common problem is when you insert key in the ignition, or press Start button (if car is equipped), nothing happens and instrument cluster show message "Steering Faulty", and Immobilizer / Kessy control module address 05-Acc/Start Auth will have faulty code "00288 - Steering Column Lock Actuator (N360) - Defective" fault.

In some cases hardware gets corrupted and module is damage , in this case it is NOT possible to do delete before module is repair and programed.
This can be checked with VCDS/VAG-COM in module 05- to make sure module still has part number and software level , in damage module you will see lot of yyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy.

Because of this problem above This Item will remain always out of stock . We will enable item for sale once we confirm from customer status of steering lock if is possible to preform this service.

We strongly suggest to check this before you sending stuff to us. If module is damage do not send anything before you Contact Us.

When we preform this service car will have ignition and instrument cluster will light up,If the car do not start or have some other modules faulty it is not caused by us or this service, it is possible that car had some other problems in past that we are not able to know , and we are not responsible for this problems.

Customer will need to remove and ship the Steering Lock Module (or the entire Steering Column), Can Gateway Module and one working Key. We need to have all those components to do bench test.

NOTE :

Price for Shipping is based for Steering lock separated form column.

If you ship complete steering column , customer will have to pay additional cost for extra weigh which we will bill you before shipping it back .

WE DO NOT PROVIDE SHIPPING LABEL when you ship items to Us, customer has to do this on his own.
