This Service is for DAMAGED/Corrupted Hardware of Electronic Steering Lock for Audi A6/S6, and Q7 .

The Electronic steering lock is part of the steering column, but however it can be separated from the steering column. Unfortunately if you try to buy it from Dealer they sell complete steering column with Electronic steering lock which can cost from $2500-$3000 for the parts, labor and programing .But we found solution to repair/recover it and make it affordable for everyone.

The most common problem is when you insert key in the ignition, or press Start button (if car is equipped), nothing happens , in this case customer needs to checked with VCDS/VAG-COM in module 05- to make sure module still has part number and software level , in damage module you will see lot of yyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy. If you see lot of yyyyyyyyyyyyy This happens when hardware gets corrupted and module is damage and all Data is gone.In this case it will need second hand module , and Data needs to be Recover and programed to second hand module .We usually will source and find module for customer, however customer can send replacement module if they have it .

When we preform this service car will have ignition and instrument cluster will light up,If the car do not start or have some other modules faulty it is not caused by us or this service, it is possible that car had some other problems in past that we are not able to know , and we are not responsible for this problems.

Customer will need to remove and ship the damage Steering Lock Module (or the entire Steering Column), Can Gateway Module and all Keys from the car. We need to have all those components to do programing and bench test , to make sure that steering lock works .

This service takes anywhere from 7 to 21 days depend of parts solution and availability.

NOTE :

Price for Shipping is based for Steering lock separated form column.

If you ship complete steering column , customer will have to pay additional cost for extra weigh which we will bill you before shipping it back .

WE DO NOT PROVIDE SHIPPING LABEL when you ship items to Us, customer has to do this on his own.
