CUSTOM PROGRAMING/TUNING

I needed custom programming as I desired to install a newer Jetta engine in a 74 Beetle project. I contacted anyone I could find that did ECU tuning and upgrades on that particular engine and they all just wanted to send me a prepackaged tune. None of them showed any interest or knowledge enough to do anything more. I had built the wiring harness and got the car to run, but it was in limp mode and would not rev above 3000 rpm. I reconnected with Marin, who had helped me with much needed advise years ago on a similar project, and then refused payment when I offered it. He said it was only advise and no big deal, though it helped me get past a major roadblock I was having. He asked me what I was doing now and very quickly wrote a modified program for the project that I noted aboved, and it worked amazing. The car now starts and runs and revs like it s in the original car. I highly recommend Marin at advanced car electronics for both very high competence and flexibility. No one that I contacted wanted to embrace my project but Marin not only embraced it but conquered it quite quickly and for a very fair price. 5 out of 5 stars rating from me.
