I'm a repeat customer. All of the reviews are true. They have an extremely fast turn around and their service is unmatched. Volkswagens are notorious for having more sophisticated programming requirements. In the past, I chose not to buy certain cars because of this. I don't worry about that now because of this company and their expertise.

MKV Jetta Solution
I purchased a used MKV Jetta that needed a lot of work. I ended up without the original ECU for the car, and purchased a junkyard ECU. Advanced Car Electronics was able to adapt the replacement ECU to the existing gauge cluster, and adapt my vehicle keys. They were recommended from a poster at VWVortex and did not disappoint. Communication was great (quick, even over the weekend), and the work was done as described, and worked perfectly. They followed up with me to make sure things were working well, and took time to answer my questions. Strong recommend if you need this type of work.

2014 VW Jetta TDI
Ok, my ECU got the dreaded internal fault processor error. Not good. Checked with dealer and it was $1200 for ECU, and another $600 to program. Even with the extended warranty that vw gives all TDI owners covers ECU, not if its been tuned. So here I am, looking for an alternative. Since Marin did my upgrade on my cluster, and I was satisfied with the result and speed, I went ahead and asked for his assistance. Since I wasn't really familiar with the clone procedure, he was patient and guided me through the process. So not only did I pay for the cloning process, I got free education on the process. I had found a replacement ECU (must be same part number to clone) and through the process, it didn't materialize, and he helped me find an alternative (which was actually in better shape and cheaper). I asked the shipper to send directly to him, and since he already had upgraded my cluster, there was no need for me to send him my old ecu to clone. He received it on a Tuesday, and by late Tuesday, he had sent me an email to let me know it was finished. I paid him the next morning and the NEW (used) ECU was on its way that evening. It was sent USPS with tracking, and in my case, it arrived a day early on Friday. I put it in my car, and as per Marin, (which he took the time to send me a complete procedure) had to update the injectors info on the replacement ECU. The process was painless, and simple, and in the areas where I would of struggled to find a solution for, he took the time to listen, and help me out with any concerns I had. If I had to do it all over again, I would use him, genuinely cares about you and actually appears to enjoy his work. This is a good sign that he will give each and every job his personal attention. ***** HIGHLY RECOMMENDED **** btw, don't know this guy, never met him, my only contact with him was a cluster upgrade and an ecu clone. This review was based on my personal experience.
